The RDO (Rugged Dissolved Oxygen) instrument works in combination with the iSitu™ App for iOS devices or the VuSitu App for Android devices and your own iPhone®, iPod touch®, iPad®, or Android device to provide instant measurements with no warm-up time or tedious setup needed! The RDO probe measures dissolved oxygen with EPA-approved methods, barometric pressure, air temperature, and water temperature. Simply connect the probe to the included battery pack, turn on your mobile device’s Bluetooth®, launch the iSitu App or the VuSitu App, and then immediately begin reading the results on your iPhone, iPod touch, iPad, or Android device - just as you would with a traditional handheld meter. The iSitu App and the VuSitu App work as the user interface and control application for your instrument, allowing you to view live readings, change parameters and units, tag sites with photos and GPS coordinates, record data to your mobile device, e-mail data in spreadsheet format, transfer data from your mobile device to a computer, and calibrate sensors. The RDO sensor automatically recognizes calibration solutions, stores calibration data, and performs diagnostics. To ensure accurate dissolved oxygen results, the instrument’s internal logic automatically compensates for barometric pressure and provides for manual salinity corrections. Includes probe, battery pack, cable, calibration cup, and operator’s manual on CD. Two-year warranty on the probe, one-year warranty on the battery pack, and one-year warranty on the cable.
